A love story - continued San Francisco guitarist and vocalist Matthew Chase married Sarah Tallman in November 2007. Before they wed, Matthew completed his third CD titled, "EVERYTHING," an emotional and inspirational CD which documented the couple's relationship. The track "Believe" became an instant success among friends and family members. Sadly, just five months after their beachfront wedding, Matthew Chase was tragically killed in April 2008, off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa. "EVERYTHING" not only contains "Believe," which won the 2008 Indie Singer-Songwriter Association (ISSA) Song Contest Lyrics of the Year award, but also includes new songs, such as "Feel You Near" (a final ISSA nominee for Single of the Year) and "All You Gave" (a final ISSA nominee for Best Pop Song). Despite her husband's death, Sarah continues to support his dream and has plans to promote his posthumous CD, "EVERYTHING," as well as compile a fourth CD, "EVERYTHING & AFTER." She hopes to bring his award-winning lyrics and heartfelt acoustic-based songs to fans, while also introducing them to new listeners.
